Here's a Christmas song I wrote and recorded years ago about one of Santa's oldest and most trusted elves. Hope you enjoy it!

Elvin the Elf

What makes this such a time of cheer
When Christmas comes around each year
We know that Santa’s on his way
With tons of goodies in his sleigh
Who makes these goodies for the children
Could it be the elf named Elvin?

Elvin the Elf is centuries old
Lived most of his life up at the North Pole
Built Santa’s Workshop from the ground up
He even built the shelvin’
Oh the little elf Elvin

He lived year after year by Santa’s side
Helped design the toys that the parents would buy
Till one year the younger elves took him aside
They crushed his little bells in (Ouch!)
Curtains for Elvin

They said they didn’t like his old fashioned ideas
“Kids haven’t liked toys like that in years and years!
We know how to make the toys kids like
So get rid of that doll, that sled, that bike
Kids like torpedoes, and dolls with big breasts,
And baby Scud missiles, and all the rest

When Christmas came around later that year
And children came to Santa what did he hear?
They wanted those dolls, that sled, that bike
He should of put his trust in
Oh the little elf Elvin

So Elvin got to work building those toys
To save Christmas for the girls and boys
He worked night and day and night and day till he went nuts
And the other elves thanked him for saving their butts

When the children are fast asleep
Santa lands on their roofs so steep
And brings the presents down the chimneys
He sticks a little tag in, “Merry Christmas From Elvin”
Oh the little elf Elvin
